Beisia Ogose

Great selection of bento at reasonable prices

The chain supermarket Beisia is fairly standard around Japan, but there bento differ greatly from branch to branch. This branch in Ogose has a particularly good choice of bento and take out food that is very reasonably priced. Onigiri for 63 yen. The branch is fairly new, maybe around two years old. It is very clean and well kept. Despite being small, there is a nice selection overall. They have a lovely kids aisle, that is set up like a sweet shop. There are small baskets for children to use and the sweets are low enough for the kids to pick up themselves. Parking is free and plentiful. They have Green Panda recycling with an automated machine so you can collect your recycle points. There is a rest area with seats where you can eat and the provide free water and green tea. There are also public toilets.
