Boulangerie La Table in Niigata is basically a bakery meets delicatessen, making it a great spot to pop into for a bite to eat. They have some other things on the menu that aren't just breads and cured meats, like various soups -- some of the soup options are available with a pie-topped crust which is cool from both a taste and an aesthetic perspective. Please note they are closed each Tuesday if you're planning to visit. There's a small parking lot out the front that can accommodate about 10 vehicles.
