A famous confectionary shop in Chichibu

There are a few reasons why Yahataya is famous in the Chichibu area. One is that it is located right by the torii of Chichibu Shrine. Two is that is operating for more than 100 years, since 1902. But mostly it is because it sells really delicious Japanese sweets such as dango. And they have some fun colored dango and a range of flavors. The photo in this post is from the Hitsujiyama Park Shibazakura Festival where currently Yatahaya have a festival stall selling the best of their Japanese sweets collection.
