When you Google "where to drink in Shimokitazawa", you'll probably see Mother in every list. Mother is a bar located a few minutes from Shimokitazawa Station. Its interior resembles a woodland grotto. It has a wide selection of alcohol, from wine, beer, cocktails and its very own Mori- a mix of sweet and spicy cocktail. I've tried this one and it was good. The bar also has a a high-quality menu of Japanese and Thai dishes. The atmosphere was very genial and hippy, with old-school songs being played. The staffs were also very friendly. When it comes to prices, drinks are priced averaged, ranging from 500 yen to 1000+++ yen. A happy hour menu is offered though, where a limited selection of alcohol is priced only 300 yen, from 5 pm to 7 pm.
