Useful in an emergency for an adult
Sekishindo Hospital near Kawagoe station is an old fashioned general hospital. The decor and system might be antiquated, but they do have state of the art equipment. There is usually a long wait to be seen, even if you have an appointment. Upwards of three hours during official hours. However, I have found they are one of the few places who will take people (adults) out of official hours in an emergency. I have never brought my kids here and I have never seen kids here. It is a hospital suited to adults rather than children. They are very reasonably priced charging less than most for imaging services. However, due to this and its location there are always hundreds of people there during official hours. There is an official car park, but it is a garage and doesn't take 7 or 8 seater cars or any car higher than a saloon. There is charged parking nearby with an upper cap of 1000 yen for the day.
