    Open later than everywhere else

If you find yourself in the vicinity of Kashima Jingu after sunset, like we did this past weekend, you will notice that all the souvenir shops and eateries are closed. However, there is one little gem of a place right by the free parking area, that is still open at dusk and until 10 pm. You can pick up some yaki niku skewers to eat on your walk or drive or you can eat in. If you are eating in the menu is larger. They also have some drinks on the take away menu, but just juice, oolong tea or ice / hot coffee.
