Cramped but full of competitively priced items

This supermarket is easy to overlook when you pass through Kashiwa Station. Look for the large English sign, "Food Street". The escalator will take you down to Takashimaya's answer to a "depachika", a basement food market. OK is a bit crammed in there with low ceilings and a warren of aisles. The produce section has a good selection at typical prices. However, I was surprised at the substantially lower prices for chicken, pork, and beef at this location. About 10 to 20 yen per kilo lower than many other supermarkets in the region. It can get crowded, as it's a central location. It's open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
