Tateishi Park

Spacious park with great views

Tateishi Park in Nagano is a spacious outdoor park which offers some great views out over Lake Suwa, and there are several picnic tables -- so it's a nice spot to bring some lunch or snacks and enjoy the scenery. I don't know that I'd make a trip to the area just for the park, but it's definitely worth the visit if you're passing through.
