Gengo Chaya

Zunda mochi and more

Gengo Chaya is a cute teahouse in Sendai West Park, and it's a great place to visit if you'd like to try Zunda mochi or other traditional Japanese sweets. They have a special set where you can pick three types of traditional sweets, and I'd say that's a good place to start if you want to do a little sampling. Worth the visit for the atmosphere, too!
