Tatehama Beach

A particularly nice lake beach

Tatehama Beach is one of several beaches on Lake Inawashiro. We didn't tour them all, but of the ones we did visit we particularly liked this one. The beach is wide, for a lake beach, and has nice sand that kids can play with. There is a lifeguard on duty on this beach. There are toilets and a free shower. And there is even brick barbecues you can use freely. In addition, there is free parking under the shade of trees. And a wood by the side of the beach offers shade for visitors. You can set up tents and tarps too.
