Fun Karaoke Spot
On a recent trip to Kesennuma, a small town in Miyagi prefecture, my husband elected to hunt down anout of the way and slightly bizarre little karaoke place and we were very, very happy with what we found. The outside isn't much to see, and honestly it looks like a slightly creepy warehouse, but once you open the door, an eclectic assortment of furnishings and drink bars sit to one side with a counter to the other and the karaoke rooms leading off to the left. It was easy enough to get a room for two hours. While the selection slightly different than the Big Echo, it was also really fun to see what they had available. We had a great time, and made use of the drink bar, which was slightly more extensive than the Big Echo. They limited it to either hot or cold beverages, which was slightly less awesome.
