About the best value you can get
The Ikea restaurants are fantastic. Affordable meals, that are a taste of home. For me anyway, as I am from Europe! With the location beside Showa Kinen Park its a good location for a nice, cheap lunch before, during or after a visit to the park! The drink bar is great value too. Its a popular spot, so be prepared to have to wait for a seat on a weekend.

Budget friendly eats
I've been to the restaurant at this IKEA several times when we lived about 20 minutes away in Fussa. I feel like it's a pretty budget friendly place to eat -- and I also love that they have plant-based options, which is often a rarity in Japan. Their usual Swedish meatballs are around the 800 yen mark, with the plant based ones coming in around 600 yen -- so even that is nice to see, since I often find that plant-based offerings are expensive here. Hot dogs and plant based dogs are also available, and they'll only set you back pocket change (100 yen and 80 yen respectively!)

Swedish bite!
I was impressed with how wide the restaurant is compared to other IKEA restaurants. It was strategically located in the middle of the shopping area, so when you get tired and hungry, you can definitely take a break and enjoy Swedish meals and snacks. Not very fancy, but everything is good. I had the Swedish meatballs with mashed potato on the side and a touch of berry sauce for about 800. The all-you-can-drink option is a great deal at ¥120. The dessert was also at a 15% discount for IKEA family members. It’s fair food for the price you pay. I went on a weekend so I can easily find a seat and I was lucky enough to sit on a comfortable leather couch by the window with a nice view of the monorail.
