Hearty chicken soba

Tori Soba Endo Ishiyama specializes in chicken soba noodles, and they're served in a hearty, thick broth. I personally think this type of broth is better suited to the colder months, so the autumn/winter timeframe would be ideal IMO. All of the employees are super friendly, which makes for a nice dining experience. If you do plan on visiting, keep in mind that they do take a break between their lunch and dinner sessions (break time is from 2.30pm until 5.30pm). The store is about 5 minutes on foot from Echigo-Ishiyama Station, and for those who opt to drive there's a parking area right next to the restaurant.
