Cash only comfort food

Daidokoroya is a cash-only restaurant in the Tsubame area of Niigata, and if you're looking for a comfort food fix they're worth stopping into. They have classic faves on their menu like omurice, katsu curry, and heaping bowls of soba, alongside some more Western influenced dishes like pasta. They're closed every Tuesday, and they also take a break between their lunch and dinner sittings on their other opening days -- just keep that in mind if you plan on visiting. The restaurant is walkable in about 10 minutes from Kita-Yoshida Station, but if you're driving there's a small amount of parking right out front.
