Shimonoseki Plaza Hotel

Simple but does the job

This is a fairly basic business hotel in Shimonoseki. It did all we needed it to do, which was to provide us with a clean home base to explore the city with. Breakfast was included with our stay, and it was held on the top floor of the hotel which gives you some lovely views of the surrounding area. The breakfast was predominantly Japanese style, with some western pastries in the mix too. It’s in reasonable walking distance to most attractions that the general city area offers. If you need somewhere to stay in the region and don’t need a bunch of bells and whistles, this place delivers.
