New-ish station
Takanawa Gateway Station is a relatively new station in Tokyo, only having opened in 2020. It's part of both the Yamanote line and the Keihin-Tohoku line, so there's an element of convenience to transiting through here. If you do have any interest in architecture or design, the station building was designed by the famed architect Kengo Kuma, who is behind a myriad of other buildings in Japan including the national stadium.
