Small, reasonably priced, close to the city's namesake station

Nodashi Station on the Tobu Noda line continues to transform. The elevated platform eliminated many level crossings. However, it's still quiet and lacks amenities. Within a 10-minute walk of the station's west exit is a supermarket, Comodi Iida. It's not that big, but it has reasonably-priced food, a selection of sundries such as linens, and cheap clothing and footwear. In the cooler section, you'll see a selection of Kikkoman products, mostly soy-based, as Kikkoman is headquartered in Noda City. The supermarket is the only one within a 15-minute walk of the station. It's open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily.
