Time warp Taisho era sembei shop

Abiko City has a number of traditional businesses in vintage buildings including Taisho Senbei, just north of Teganuma Park. The wood and glass storefront and the old Taisho era house to which it is attached are suspended in time. Slide the door open, and you'll see big glass jars of various kinds of grilled senbei, all for 60 yen a piece. The shop has a lovely aroma. I picked up a miso flavored senbei for a snack and it was so good that later regretted I didn't buy a bag to bring home for my friends.
