    Centrally located

Akasaka Mitsuke station is a typical Japanese metro station - clean, convenient, well run and adequately sign posted. But what I like about this station is that it is centrally located. If you prefer walking to getting several trains to just to get you to the closest station to an attraction, Akasaka Mitsuke is useful because it is within walking distance of several key attractions. Such as, Meiji Jingu Gaien to the West and the Imperial Palace garden to the (North) East, to name but two of dozens of attractions.

    Convenient Tokyo Metro station

I like Akasaka Mitsuke Station because of the ease it presents when transferring between different Tokyo Metro lines. The station itself is served by the Ginza and Marunouchi lines, but you can also get to Nagatacho Station via an underground passage, which opens up several additional train lines – the Yurakucho, Hanzomon, and Namboku lines.
