Kimikura Cafe

Great tea-based drinks and sweets in a lovely setting

Kimikura Cafe is located in Kakegawa's Oike Park, and offers up a range of different tea based drinks and sweets in a light, bright and airy setting. The premises itself is very aesthetically pleasing and designed in a modern way, and the greenery all around the cafe really makes you feel connected to nature. The sweets we had were a green tea cake and a green tea cream filled roll (similar to a cannoli). Both were delicious! They also had green tea ice cream and some other small bites to eat on the menu. There is a fairly diverse range of different green tea based drinks on their menu too, from standard hot matcha or iced green tea to matcha lattes and even a summer seasonal tangerine green tea drink. Recommended if you're in the area and a tea lover.
