Vegan Ramen - it does exist (and it's actually pretty good)
Let me preface this by saying that I'm not a vegan, and I usually like my ramen loaded with melt-in-your-mouth pork slices. In saying that, I have some friends who are vegan and they're always on the lookout for tasty vegan eats. There's a vegan ramen place at Tokyo Station (Keiyo Street) by the name of T's Tantan, and dare I say it...it's actually pretty good (I was skeptical!) As well as having their signature tantan ramen, there are other vegan and vegetarian friendly options here - soy karaage, salads, curry and more. The only real downsides to me were that you've got to be through the ticket gates to access the restaurant (which is a bummer if you want to just turn up to Tokyo Station and eat) and it's also a little tricky to find. Also, it is a popular spot - so sometimes there is a line. Other than that, the food was fab, and they even have instant vegan ramen that you can buy and take home with you!
