Retro vibes, filling meals
Akashibuya is a retro-feeling restaurant which offers up some classic Japanese meals at prices that are pretty friendly on the wallet. For instance, a bowl of regular ramen is only 500 yen, and katsudon and curry rice are 700 yen. It's definitely the kind of spot to have an unpretentious meal, and I personally like the Showa-feeling atmosphere. It's a bit out of the way of public transport so visiting by car is your best bet, but on-site parking is limited to two spaces which can be a bit frustrating.
