Two golden lucky Gods!

Hotei is my favorite of the 'Seven Lucky Gods' so when I learned that there was a golden Hotei in Yorii town I just had to visit. It took me years to get there as it is quite a remote area of Saitama. But this year I finally ticked it off my bucket list! Apart from Hotei there is also a golden Fukurokuju. This temple is known within Saitama Prefecture for its cherry blossoms, but I have yet to see them myself. There were a few hydrangea in bloom when I visited in June.
