Home to one of Saitama's 3 three storey pagoda
A pleasant find on a trip to Gyoda earlier in the week. I had never heard anything about this temple before, but the sign outside marking it as one of Saitama's designated cultural properties drew me in. Thankfully there was some information on site that I could understand. Reportedly the three storey pagoda on site is one of only three original wooden three storey pagodas left in Saitama. It is really small, the smallest three storey pagoda I've ever seen.
