Website Said English Speaking
I first came to this dental clinic expecting some sort of English experience as my filling had somehow cracked and left a gaping hole in my tooth. At the time, my Japanese comprehension was at a level where I could understand most things but my output was (and still is) terrible, so I had trouble responding to things. Due to that, I decided to be safe and find an English-speaking clinic and I thought Kimura Clinic would have that. I was a bit disappointed to find that the front staff and dental assistants knew zero English. Only the head dentist knew English, and it seemed that it taxed him a lot because his hands shook and he was sweating when he poked around in my mouth. Maybe that’s just who he is? I gave the clinic a couple of other chances, but each time it was only in Japanese. To their credit, they’re all quite friendly and helpful, but my disappointment in learning that Engish was limited after their website stated English was available makes me feel that a rating above 3 out of 5 is generous.
