Quaint Little Cake and Goodie Vendor

Tried the rice flour chiffon cake, and it was fluffy and chewy, but not super flavorful. The price point was excellent. I just wish it has been a little more distinctive, nothing really outstanding. The store’s concept of catering to dogs and their owners together is really interesting take on a bakery, and I respect the owner’s hustle, but I want her to push her cakes and cookies to have a little more impact. The store is tucked away along the rows of stores in Ninjo-yokocho, so it’s a little difficult to find, and the business hours are 12:00 to 19:00, so don’t go early if you want to try this bakery. The chef/owner was welcoming and readily engaged in recommending treats and answering questions.
