Hot dogs styled on the noses of the long nosed goblin!

I was here during the day in winter and purchased from the kiosk which has a limited menu out of season. We ordered the "tengu" dogs named and styled after the infamous long nosed goblins of Yakuoin. They are a good size and while not entirely filling would keep you going for a while. Their chips (fries) are made fresh which is nice and are more like what we call potato wedges in Ireland. Seats and tables are plastic, like the cutlery! I give it 4 stars mainly due to the spectacular views of both rural and urban Tokyo. However, there is a section of the observatory that you can enjoy without purchasing anything in the restaurant. You can see Tokyo Skytree on a clear day and actually the floor the observatory is on is the same height as Tokyo Skytree at 633 metres. (Mt Takao itself is 599 metres). My cousin had the crepe and she said it was very good. It was more reasonably priced too. Located close to the cable car station at the top of Mt Takao.
