Yuzu Walkway

Off the beaten path nature trail

The Yuzu Walkway is an off the beaten path nature trail and hiking course. It starts from near the seasonal Takinoiri Rose Garden and goes right up to Katsuragi Kannon which is a sunrise viewing spot in Moroyama. The walkway, as the name suggests, is for the most part through Yuzu orchards. It runs alongside the Katsuragi river too, which is more like a stream. Unfortunately it is quite hard to get to by public transport - the walk to the spot is a hike in itself. Moreover, there is no official parking. But if you like quiet and solitude in natural surroundings it is a pleasant hike.
