Really accommodating izakaya

We visited Oshimaya during Golden Week on our way home from a camping trip. There were 19 in our party and we wanted to eat together. After ringing around a few different places who said that our group was too big to sit together, we found Oshimaya. The staff at Oshimaya offered that we used the upstairs of his restaurant that is normally reserved for private parties. We didn't have to pay any extra for this. It was around 12.30 pm when we rang and it was half an hour drive away. Despite their closing time being officially 2.30 pm (they open again at 5 pm), they told us to take our time getting there and they would stay open late if need be. And even though our group was large they were very efficient and prompt in delivering our orders. The food was really delicious to boost. Between our group we had pretty much everything on the menu, which is rather extensive really. You can get individual dishes or order a set meal. It was really good value for money. The restaurant is all no smoking. There is an ashtray outside. Parking for about 12 cars, 4 directly outside the restaurant and more in an overflow car park out back.
