My Favourite Vegan Ramen so Far

For me, I have yet to find a vegan ramen that makes me prefer it over my usual non-vegan go-tos, but T's tantan and their, well, tantanmen is the closest so far. The creamy sesame tantan soup has just a slight spiciness to it that most people can enjoy, and the depth of the flavours make them stand out above other vegan ramen. The restaurant also serves much more than just tantan, and their vegan karaage is worth trying. While not expensive, it is fried to a crisp and goes well as a side dish. I have yet to try all of their offerings, but this shop is definitely one vegans would enjoy.

    Vegan heaven

Here are some facts for you, the reader of this review. 1. I love ramen. 2. I'm not vegan. 3. My favorite ramen may well be T's Tantan, which IS vegan ramen. There are a number of T's Tantan locations across Tokyo, including at Tokyo Station and at Narita Airport. There's also this one at the ecute Mall at Ueno Station, and the vegan tantanmen is so good. Seriously. You'll be wondering just what wizardry they use to make the ramen taste so good without the use of any animal products whatsoever. They have a range of other vegan-friendly goodies on the menu too (the gyoza are delish!), so I highly recommend a visit here whether you're vegan or not. Super flavorful food.
