Interesting museum centered around lamps

If you're passing through Shizuoka there are some interesting museums to check out, including the New York Lamp Museum. It's home to a wide variety of historic stained glass lamps, some which are over 100 years old. If you enjoy beautiful gardens, visiting here is also well worth your time -- there are various flowers in bloom to enjoy at different times of year. Admission is a little pricey at 1400 yen but when you factor in both the gardens and the museum it's not too bad of a deal.
