Saitama Prefectural Kumagaya Dome

Impressive and functional architecture

Located within the mammoth Kumagaya Sports and Culture Park, Saitama Prefectural Kumagaya Dome is as aesthetic as it is functional. With a retractable roof and all sorts of high tech capabilities the dome is well worth a visit just to appreciate the architecture! However, as far as I know they don't actually run tours of the facilities at the moment. Thankfully, we had the great fortune to attend a large prefectural sporting event there. That's what it is used for mostly - Prefecture managed sporting events. It is one of the principal Saitama Prefecture sports facilities. However, randomly, there are a selection of unusual bicycles you can rent from the reception area of the building!
