On the west side of Kasukabe Station there are lots of dining options. One of the few Chinese restaurants within walking distance of the station is Suikoen with its elaborate Chinese decoration. This classic Mandarin cuisine restaurant does take out bento boxes and lunchtime deals priced under 1000 yen. The food is flavorful and presented well. The restaurant is izakaya-style with all-you-can-drink plans and a wide variety of classic Chinese dishes. The staff members speak Chinese and Japanese fluently and the pictorial menus make it easy to order, so you don't have to fumble trying to say menu items in either language.
