Great hotel as a basis for cycling the Shimanami Kaido

If you're planning to cycle the Shimanami Kaido, I recommend Hotel Cycle as a convenient place to stay. The rooms are modern and decked out with all the usual amenities, but also include bike-friendly elements like racks on the walls so you can store your bikes inside (definitely a plus if your bike is expensive and you'd prefer not to leave it outside!). There is a cafe and bakery on site as well. Enjoyed our stay here very much and would definitely stay here again.
