All About Pineapples
It is difficult to enjoy this place unless you absolutely love pineapples, which are quite delicious in Okinawa. The best pineapples I have had are from there. This park will teach and show you a lot about pineapples, and the food court at the end is great too. However, if you are there to buy their famous pineapple cakes, then remember these cakes are actually sold all over Okinawa, so there is no specific need to go there just to get souvenirs. At the end of the trip, I was honestly a bit sick from thinking about pineapples. Afterall, having a themed location all about one fruit is a bit too much, but those who love it would enjoy it.

A fun place to really embrace Okinawa's tropical climate
When you think of tropical climates, you probably extend that thought process to tropical fruits. Okinawa's Nago Pineapple Park is a fun place to visit to really appreciate this delicious fruit in all its glory. You can learn all about how pineapples are cultivated (including how they were brought to Okinawa in the first place), how to distinguish the best pineapples to buy, and more. Naturally there are opportunities to enjoy pineapple goodies, too -- pineapple parfaits, pineapple pizzas, and pineapple ice cream are just some of the options that were on the menu when we visited. A fun, family-friendly destination!
