You know a restaurant serving international cuisine is good when it's popular with people from that region. Mehman Saraye is a Halal Pakistan restaurant in Noda City popular with folks from the Indian subcontinent and Japanese folks. I had the set lunch with two chicken curry, spinach curry, tandori chicken, and a huge naan. The seasoning and preparation of the food made me and my companions nostalgic for trips we've had to India, Nepal, and Pakistan. The curries are authentic, flavorful, and hearty. We finished our meal with chai which was aromatic with cardamom, cloves, and a hint of cinnamon. The staff and owner are very friendly, and they speak English and Japanese.
