Buffet lunch worth the extra yennie for the location
It may not be the best food I have ever tasted, but it is certainly delicious and only part of the appeal of this buffet lunch in the luxurious Hotel Gajoen. You are paying for the setting as well as the experience of eating in one of the locations that inspired the Sento in Ghibli classic Spirited Away. The buffet is 4,040 yen for 90 minutes all-you-can-eat. For an additional 2000 yen you can also get unlimited drinks. The choice of food is quite varied and all is delicious. They have appetizers, salads, meat, fish, pasta dishes, pizza, soup and breads. The buffet lunch also includes a good selection of desserts and tea and coffee. Suited to a group of friends, a couple or even a family. However, they do not cater to very young children. They don't mind them in the restaurant, but they don't have any of the extras you often see in family restaurants. Reserving in advance is recommended.
