Old Villa with a nice Café

Seikantei (清閑亭) is an old Japanese villa which once belonged to the Marquis Nagashige Kuroda and was built in 1906. It was registered as tangible cultural property in 2005 and designated as national historic site in 2006. You can walk through the villa and take a look into the different rooms. The admission is free. Opening times are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., but take care that the Seikantei is closed every Tuesday, on New Year and on other special occasions. Don't miss to take a rest at the café. They have two small rooms in Japanese style with big windows from there you can see the Japanese garden and have a nice view to the Sagami Bay in the background. I drank a matcha and even got a little sweet in the shape of Odawara castle.
