    Pocket park, nostalgic atmosphere

On the Old Nikko Road that passes through Soka City is this tiny spot selected as one of Japan's best pocket parks. It's named after Osen-san, a dumpling and sembei rice cracker seller who was well known to travelers using the Old Nikko Road. The park is tiny but beautifully landscaped. The "tea house" is a pavilion with a wooden deck where you can rest before you continue on your way to Matsubara Promenade nearby. You want to bring your own tea and sembei from the many shops nearby.
