Beautiful lake where you can canoe

Lake Miyazawa is a natural lake in Hanno, around which Metsa (Metsa Village and Moominvalley Park) was built. There is a part of the lake that is outside Metsa and is part of a hiking trail. The lake looks particularly beautiful in Autumn when the surrounding shrubbery and forest have stunning colored leaves. Throughout the year you can hire a canoe to take out on the lake. If you visit Moominvalley park you can also zip line over the lake (for a charge). Within Metsa there are several eateries that afford a great view of the lake including a Starbucks and the main Metsa buffet restaurant. You can sit out on a green area on wooden deck chairs and take in the view.
