Chichibu Highland Ranch

Farm on top of a mountain ridge with amazing views

Chichibu Highland Ranch, also known as Sai No Kuni Fureai Farm, is located at the top of a mountain in Higashichichibu. Due to its altitude its a little cooler than many parts of Saitama. The altitude also affords stunning views. You can see as far as the Sky Tree on a clear day! The farm has cows, sheep, goats and rabbits. There are several hands on experiences normally, but due to the Coronavirus some are currently temporarily unavailable. There are a couple of shops and some nice outdoor areas to picnic. The farm is free in and parking is free too. A bit tricky to get to by public transport unless you are prepared to hike an hour and a half from Minano!
