Kumagaya Sakura Sports Park

Great facilities, stunning sakura

The Kumagaya Sakura Sports Park is not that well known outside the city, which is surprising given that it has some stunning early blooming cherry blossoms! It also has some Somei Yoshino too. Moreover, the park has some great facilities for citizens, including an affordable indoor gymnasium. Outdoors there are all manner of pitches, exercise machines, walking / running and jogging courses. There is a seasonal outdoor pool in the park too, but it hasn't opened since the pandemic began. There is also a playground for kids.
