Gozengahama Beach

Small but picturesque beach at Lake Towada

Lake Towada is the kind of lake that has very few beaches. But you can find two or three around the south end of the lake, including Gozengahama Beach. Gozengahama beach is quite narrow, but there is enough room to put down a picnic sheet. The sand is quite soft. It was a surprisingly good spot for Sea Glass and my kids found quite a few pieces. You can watch the ferry, speed boats and swan boats pass from this beach.
