Tasty eats in Tokamachi

If you're touring around the Tokamachi area of Niigata for the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale and you're looking for a place to eat, Champuku is a great spot to check out if you enjoy Korean cuisine. They have some classic favorites on their menu like bibimbap, yukgaejang (spicy beef soup) and samgyetang (a ginseng-based chicken soup), and that's just scratching the surface. Pricing definitely felt reasonable based on portion sizes, too. There's a small amount of parking next to the building, or it's an easy five minutes on foot from Doichi Station.
