Nishikigoi no Sato Pokemon Manhole

Fits the venue perfectly

Of the several Magikarp (Koiking) manholes around the Ojiya area of Niigata, the one outside the Nishikigoi no Sato venue is perhaps the most perfectly matched to its surroundings. The venue explores the history of koi in Japan, so I feel like having a magikarp manhole right out front was well thought out! You can appreciate the artistry of this manhole without needing to enter the venue, but I'd highly recommend going in and exploring -- it is a family favorite for us!
