Beautiful Melon Pan

A tiny shop located near Nishitetsu Kurume Station, Melon de melon just opened in December of 2017. I rode by and noticed a couple people standing in front ordering their melon pan. I stopped and took a peek. There were about ten kinds of melon pan in the case, from plain to amaou strawberry, all around 200 yen each. I ordered one of the strawberry and one of the cinamon melon pan. All orders are to go as all there is in the shop is a small bakery in back and the counter to order with a display case below. The order was packed up quickly and I was off. The taste was perfect in both flavor and texture. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the melon pan had just the right amount of cinnamon or sour strawberry flavor and sweetness. The price is a bit high compared with factory made melon pan, but the quality is definitely on another level.
