Sengen Asama Shrine

A designated tangible folk cultural property of Ageo City.

This Sengen / Asama Shrine (I believe the locals call this one "Asama") doesn't look overly exciting, but it is a designated folk cultural property of Ageo. Moreover, is is the largest "Fujizuka" (built to resemble Mt Fuji) in Ageo. According to a sign at the site the mound is 4.8 meters and the diamter 25 meters. It is nestled among beautiful mature trees.
