Hyoko Iris Garden

Great spot to enjoy the best of iris season

The Hyoko Iris Garden is an excellent spot to check out during June, with several hundred thousand of the flowers at their best for visitors to enjoy. The venue also hosts an annual festival during this period (it wraps up today, June 23rd for 2024, unfortunately), so the garden has a really fun atmosphere. I definitely recommend driving here if you can, otherwise it's about a 30 minute walk from the nearest station. Lots of parking, but getting there early on weekends during the iris season is recommended.
