Ogikubo Park

Great spot for hydrangeas in summer

If you're in the Maebashi area of Gunma anytime from mid–June to late July, I'd recommend a visit to Ogikubo Park. The park has a ton of beautiful hydrangeas to enjoy (official counts are somewhere around 16,000!) and I didn't find it crowded when my family and I visited. Tons of parking is available and there is no admission fee to enjoy the seasonal beauty.
