Great place for a summer dip

Minamiuonuma's Mizunashi River is a popular local spot for swimming and cooling off in the summer months. This particular section of the river is calm even for amateur swimmers, and you'll see lots of families there with their children on hot days. Thankfully, since it's a wide open area, there's no risk of not adhering to social distancing rules - plenty of space for everyone.
